Description

Patentkali® is a special potash fertiliser with a high content of magnesium and sulphur. The nutrients are present in the form of sulphate, are water-soluble and therefore immediately available to the plants.

Patentkali® is unaffected by the soil pH and is therefore suitable for application to all sites.

Patentkali® ensures a high quality spread pattern due to the uniform particle size spectrum, enabling a precise distribution even at wide spreading widths.

Patentkali® is approved according to regulation (EC) 834/2007 and (EC) 889/2008 for use in organic farming systems.

Application

Patentkali® is particularly suitable for nutrient supply to chloride sensitive agricultural, horticultural and forestry crops due to its low chloride content of max. 3% Cl.

In certain crops, dramatically reduced atmospheric sulphur depositions are already increasingly leading to S deficiency symptoms, which can only be prevented with a sufficient sulphur application. Patentkali®, with a guaranteed 42.5% sulphur (SO3) content is able to alleviate this deficiency due to the immediate plant availability of its nutrients.

Patentkali® is highly suitable for use in starch potatoes, potatoes for processing, vegetables, fruits, grape, vine, sunflowers and other special purpose crops.

Patenkali® can be safely applied to all crops until shortly before the drilling or planting date.

On light soils, Patentkali® should be applied in spring to avoid potential nutrient losses during the winter.

Suitability for organic farming

Patentkali® is mined from natural salt deposits in Europe which were,formed by the evaporation of seawater many millions of years ago.

Due to its natural origin and the minimal processing in our fertiliser factories, Patentkali® is suitable for organic farming according to regulation (EC) 834/2007 and (EC) 889/2008. Patentkali has also been certified by the Soil Association (UK) for use in organic farming systems.
